To choose the correct size of your garment you should follow these guidelines:

With your hands raised up, check that the jacket bar covers the waistband of your pants by at least 5cm.
With your body in a 90-degree position, make sure that the bottom hem of the jacket overlaps the pants waistband by at least 2 inches.
The trouser´s hem should overlap the boots by approximately 10 cm. Protective gloves should be overlaped on the wrist by the outer layer of the garment.
Firefighting garments cannot be too tight (avoiding air pockets for thermal protection) and also too loose (hindering movement). When deciding on your garment size, make sure there is room in the arms and chest. Always test the movement of your body to be sure of the correct size.

Pay attention to the details of the jacket, the measurement of the thorax of the garment should be 15 to 20 cm larger than the chest of the wearer. And the waistband length cannot be shorter than the circumference of the wearer’s hips. The waist measurement of the garment should be approximately 4cm wider than the wearer’s waist.
